The apartment building
is a former palace, situated in a side street just
a few metres from Nices main square and the
Cours Saleya (right), directly opposite the delightful
Sainte Rita church.
The charming sound of the church bells chiming is the
only external sound you are likely to hear in the apartment
because, although benefiting from a perfect central location,
it is located in a side street on the top floor (no lift)
and is therefore extremely quiet.

The Cours Saleya (above
right)
Turn left out of the front door and the famous
Cours Saleya is located a few steps away.
It used to be the elegant promenade of Old
Nice and is now lined with shops and restaurants.
The flower and local produce market is held
daily, with antiques on a Monday. All the
main bars and restaurants are located here.
Beaches (left)
The beach is less than a one-minute walk from
the apartment, at approximately 30m.
The Baie des Anges covers a 5km stretch of
coastline with many public beaches benefiting
from close surveillance. There are an additional
15 private beaches, providing all manner of
watersports.
The Old Port (right)
The Port is a five to ten-minute stroll from
the apartment and is a beautiful place to
visit. The houses and building that surround
it are embellished with porticoes and colourful
facades and the port itself is host to fishing
boats, yachts and luxury cruise liners amongst
others. |
