The apartment building is a former palace, situated in a side street just a few metres from Nice’s main square and the Cours Saleya (right), directly opposite the delightful ‘Sainte Rita’ church.

The charming sound of the church bells chiming is the only external sound you are likely to hear in the apartment because, although benefiting from a perfect central location, it is located in a side street on the top floor (no lift) and is therefore extremely quiet.
The Cours Saleya (above right)
Turn left out of the front door and the famous Cours Saleya is located a few steps away. It used to be the elegant promenade of Old Nice and is now lined with shops and restaurants. The flower and local produce market is held daily, with antiques on a Monday. All the main bars and restaurants are located here.

Beaches (left)
The beach is less than a one-minute walk from the apartment, at approximately 30m.
The Baie des Anges covers a 5km stretch of coastline with many public beaches benefiting from close surveillance. There are an additional 15 private beaches, providing all manner of watersports.

The Old Port (right)
The Port is a five to ten-minute stroll from the apartment and is a beautiful place to visit. The houses and building that surround it are embellished with porticoes and colourful facades and the port itself is host to fishing boats, yachts and luxury cruise liners amongst others.
Old Nice
Old Nice is the area in which the apartment is situated and this is the colourful and richly historical old quarter of Nice. Literally on the doorstep are a wealth of unique shops, cafes, art galleries, bakeries etc lining the ancient, winding, narrow streets.
Locality
Nice is the capital of the French Riviera and is situated half-way between Monaco and
Cannes and only 18 miles from the Italian border, on the Mediterranean coast. Nice
takes its influences from both France and Italy with some outstanding architecture and
places to visit. It is a very glamorous setting for your visit.

The apartment is a perfect base for exploring the Cote d’Azur. Monaco/Monte Carlo,
Cannes and Antibes are all a 15-minute train journey away and Vinitimiglia is just 24
miles away (just over an hour by train).

The Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival are both held in May.
