The apartment benefits from a good-sized balcony with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, mountains and rooftops of Old Nice, as well as an unobstructed view of the Colline du Château (Château Hill) and its waterfall, from the dining area. The waterfall is illuminated at night, thus providing a romantic setting for evening meals or even just watching television!
There is also a marvellous sea view directly in front of the kitchen window.
The beach is only 30m from the apartment and the famous Cours Saleya is just a few steps from the front door. The Cours Saleya is home to the daily flower and local produce market (antiquities on a Monday) and many popular restaurants and bars are also situated here.
The Port is a five to ten-minute stroll from the apartment, along the beach.
The bathroom is tiled throughout to an exceptional standard and has a brand-new power shower.

The website had left us with high expectations of what to expect from this studio apartment. We have not been disappointed. It has met and then exceeded all of them.
The perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the ‘Big Smoke’ – a glorious week of sunshine, panoramic views and a large serving of cheese (!).
If you are going to do any day trips at all, make it Monaco – absolutely spendid!

The sea was calm last night! People swarming towards the Promenade for midnight toasts and fireworks…nothing could anticipate the scene that presented itself today with powerful waves that rose their path up in the air to then let themselves fall down on to the shore.
It feels a responsibility to be the last of a decade and the first of the New Year to write in this book. Our second visit this year to this lovely place, we are and have been so grateful!

Even though this was not our first stay in Nice, it was outstanding and the place made all the difference. Not just for it’s location and beauty, but most of all for it’s atmosphere and quality! A perfect little nest on the rooftops with unbelievable views – light, airy and a cool haven to come back after the sizzling heat below. Our favourite evening entertainment was watching the aerial ballet display by the swifts.
Nice has so much to offer and we haven’t managed to do nearly as many museums etc that we’d planned so a good excuse for another visit.
The flat is perfect for trips out of town – bus station is 2 minutes away to anywhere you’d want to get to.

Absolutely stunning views! Your apartment is lovely – the design, decoration and everything provided. We found it to be very child friendly too with the safety gate and cot. Our daughter, Brinli, loved standing out on the balcony watching the birds and cats on the rooftops. We have really enjoyed our time here in Nice and loved wandering around the Old Town and soaking up the atmosphere. We have many memories to take home with us and many stories to tell of the sights we have seen. We were lucky to be here during Carnival time and had a fantastic time watching the parade. It was amazing, as was the atmosphere.

Yes, we got to spend a Joyeux Noel in this apartment after a week in Chamonix and Lyon. An excellent end to our trip! This seamlessly felt like home while we were here, walking around the Old Town, the old fort/hill and Avenue Anglais felt very safe. We were content to walk the city all 5 days we were here although in a future visit we would head to the nearby mountain villages. This time here will be the most special of memories.

We have had a great time. Views from the apartment are fabulous. We have had such a choice – sea, rooftops, church and mount (watching waterfall). We were not sure if we would like Old Nice but the flat is above it all and the people, shops, markets and restaurants all make for a wonderful place. We would always want to stay in the centre of everything. A five minute walk to the bus station and you can be anywhere in at most 80 minutes. The new bus tickets are marvellous – so cheap.

Up with the gods with the vistas of the town all around, listening to the sounds and enjoying the smells of Old Nice below you. An observer and a participant at the same time. Wow! How long has this been going on for? The apartment was everything we’d hoped for and more from the moment we opened the windows and balcony door on arrival to be greeted by the spectacular views among the rooftops of Old Nice. A wonderful week in a fabulous apartment, in a truly great location. Weather was wonderful, hot and sunny, but cool at night. Swifts played around the rooftops in the morning and evening. Restaurants within 100 metres were wonderful. Too much food, wine, coffee and ice cream. Apartment is well set up, organised and all was hassle free. Thank you Lorna and Mum (& dog). Can’t better what has been said before.
We will be back!

A fabulous week but tinged with sadness as this may be the last stay here for me. Am buying my own studio in Vieux Nice but it won’t have the views and luxurious fittings (and balcony!).

It was the most amazing holiday I have had in my life. When I entered your flat, I was amazed with the view and the decoration at the same time. It was hard to believe such a small apartment has got more facilities than our 3 bedroom house has. Whatever we needed it was there. On the other hand, neighbours are also amazing.
I will certainly return in the future and will recommend the apartment to friends and family.

We chose the apartment as a convenient base for visiting the Masters Series Tennis Tournament at Monaco – but what a delight Nice is! We found enough time to explore and will definitely be coming back with the rest of the family. The apartment is wonderfully situated – great views and everything in walking distance.

Your apartment is a true gem! It is a perfect place for discovering the Old Town of Nice and well beyond. Who cares about the stairs when you discover the views of the Chateau and the Old Town. Many thanks to Lorna, her mother and “the dog” for meeting us and making us most welcome.

Everybody has already said it, it is wonderful. We loved the apartment, stairs fazed us at first but got used to them. Good excuse to have something nice from the patisserie. We have had a wonderful time in the Old Town. The apartment is perfectly placed to take advantage of everything the town has to offer. We were fortunate to witness the atmosphere surrounding the France win over Portugal in the World Cup semi-final – quite a night!

This apartment is truly a little gem of a place! With it’s central location of the Old Town, close to everything you’ll need – magnificent views – especially at night. We felt very virtuous looking out at the fabulous bell towers and hearing the sound of the bells ringing out every hour! In the past 18 months we’ve spent several short stays in Nice – this has to be one of the best, simply because of staying in this great apartment. Stairs – what stairs?

Just cannot imagine a better location for a base for Nice and Provence adventures. In one week we made San Remo/Ventimiglia to Les Arcs and Cannes. Lots of great gastronomical highlights here within walking distance.
The apartment is fabulous and with all the luck we had with the weather, the views from the windows were a constant pleasure.
Well equipped for pleasant cooking too, particularly now in the asparagus season… Clean and tidy too.
We’ll be back.

Fantastic location to soak up the atmosphere of the Old Town. Worth the walk to the top floor for the peace and quiet and stunning views. No better table for tea than in the apartment looking at the illuminated waterfall at the Chateau. Recommend the walk to the railway station (Riquier or Nice Ville) for a trip to Antibes or Menton (Cannes and Monaco can be visited same day).
We will definitely be coming back for a week later in the year or spring 2007.
